This week’s theme is … Aftermath
Last week I shared 7 photos of a lovely red rose
in a collage at Sacred Ruminations Haiku Friday#102,
Today’s collage below illustrates it’s gradual demise.
AFTERMATH …

Currently Santa Ana winds are blowing outside and are predicted to gust for the next few days. I’m hoping they won’t wreak havoc on the Apricot Rose still in full bloom in my front yard, here in Southern California.

Haiku Sky Watch Friday is in the next post and at Sacred Ruminations too.

We knew it all along. All flowers must pass.
What’s your comment box doing so far down the screen? I almost gave up before I found it.

I think I would enjoy the Santa Ana winds today, for their warmth, and to dry up our excess water. But…we have what we have, and the flood waters are subsiding.
Your collage is beautiful. <3

That’s quite a collage. Roses are so beautiful and delicate. I sometimes ache a little when I take in their beauty because they do fade so fast. This rose is a regular beauty. Thanks, Storyteller.

Even though they are slowly losing their petals, these roses are still beautiful.

Lady, roses in January is simply mind – bending. I am soaking these photos in, however! Is there a variety of rose which will grow in snow?

Wow, this is a beautiful garden. I love it! Wish I had some flowers to share, but my garden is under 12 inches of snow. Seeing your flowers reminds me how much I miss the spring and summer months. Thanks for stopping by.

What a beauty…its life is so brief, yet it gives us such pleasure…
