Scroll down for Wordful Wednesday and T-13

I spent yesterday
with my sister walking and
taking photographs

“Walking gets the feet moving, the blood moving, the mind moving. And movement if life.” Carrie Latet

“Walks. The body advances, while the mind flutters around it like a bird.”
Jules Renard

I intended to take and share additional photos this morning (since steady soft drizzles are falling outside) and add a brief update about yesterday with my sister as a follow up to my Wordful Wednesday post at Sacred Ruminations … however methinks I’ll allow the two quotes about WALKING augment the eleven watery reflective photos to make ‘requisite’ thirteen. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the disastrous earthquake in Haiti.
9:30am Addendum
While visiting blogs this morning I found this lovely award at Hootin’ Anni’s. Since she shared so generously … I wanted to pass it along as well to all of you who bring ‘sunshine’ to MY life by visiting and sharing your thoughts. Hope you’re having a lovely day.

Thought for Today
“Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Every day I walk myself into a state of well-being and walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.” Soren Kierkegaard

I was so happy to see you had a new post up! What delightful photos. I love fountains! I have several fountains that I’ve taken photos of that I’ve been meaning to post. I think I’ll do it tonight! You’ve inspired my post. I can’t figure out how they made this fountain to look like bubbles!! It’s so intreguing, it’s like an optical illusion.

Beautiful and unusual fountains! They kind of remind me of umbrellas, which is amusing. You captured some lovely views and reflections.

Hi Sweetie…
I was so thrilled to see that you had stopped by and enjoyed your visit. I have so much fun blogging. I work full-time 10-12 hour days so my work is usually done late at night, but it brings such peace to my soul. I could type all night and never tire.
I love the water bubblers in these pictures or fountaings, whichever way you see them. They are so serene and cool, and have a wonderful calming over my body. I love them. I can almost hear the water babbling along.
I loved the part about walking. I am an insulin diabetic and have neuropathy in my feet really bad. I refuse to give in to the disease. I drag myself out of bed in the morning (3:45am) and I get myself ready for work.
I can only walk a slow speed, but something is better than nothing. Thank you sweetie for the inspiration. It is always wonderful to hear something inspirational.
Have a beautiful Thursday, and thank you for sharing. I so love it when my blogger sisters do. Country hugs, Sherry
