Arctic storm descends ...
Southern California rain
saturates dry ground
washing everything
trees, grass, flowers, houses, cars ...
air feels brisk, smells clean
animals scurry
seeking places to escape ...
watching warily
Ms. Kitty dines 'in'
near French Doors (for quick escape)
... Molly in kitchen
behind 'doggie' gate
watches ... wondering just when
she can play outside
without the 'wet' stuph
falling from the sky today ...
'routines' disrupted

“Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.”

Love the collage. Excellent. It rained here this morning too. Looks like you are getting more than we are however.
Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug. 🙂

What a wonderful collage. I can’t imagine blue skies and palm trees when we are shoveling out from the storm that lasted most of the day today. We have between 8 and 12 inches as a guestimate. So much snow on our lawn already and this is the first big snowfall of the season. We are to get about the same amount on Sunday. I’m not sure where we’ll put it.
Take care, my friend. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Blessings,
Mary

Poor Molly…cats don not like a change in routine, ours most certainly don’t…A bit of rain in SoCal makes for a dramatic sky!

Storyteller,
I find the same thing. I couldn’t believe my staats were so high and comments so low. I guess people just don’t have time to comment at this time of year, or possibly anytime of year.
We have piles of snow here. I did take a few photos before the batteries in my camera died and will try to post them later tonight.
Have a great weekend.
Blessings,
Mary

What a beautiful collage! I love your photos, storyteller!
I was just thinking, poor Miss Kitty probably isn’t that used to rain–so it must really throw her off.
We’ve been getting a ton of rain here, too–which is better than snow!

Thanks for dropping by my Looking at the sky on Friday. The skies in this post look a bit dreadful. I hope the kitty didn’t get too wet. 😀
