Marvelous shots, beautiful skies as always — am sorry about the forest fires though. Hope they’re under control soon! Always love your words!

The Moon seen through that narrow slit of space between buildings is one of the best Skywatching images I’ve ever seen!

Beautiful collage. I like how the clouds appear and disappear from one shot to the next.

Don’t like having to come back to the top for comment. But your photos and verses are pretty wonderful.

The name of your blog always catches my eye, as I am also a very happily retired person! Lovely photos. We are all watching the progress in fighting the fires with great concern.
Thank you for sharing.

Very unusual, but beautiful shots! I am so sorry for the loss of so much wood and houses by the fires. We saw it on TV.

I’ve been watching the news about the fires all week. I’m so sorry they’re still burning, too!
You shot some nice photos
GOD Bless the firefighters!

Very sad to see the horrific fires in California – very worrying when fire spreads so readily and rapidly.

Beautiful photos. California is my favorite place, you capture it’s beauty nicely. Prayers for safety and for the fire to die down soon! The hot dry weather Cali is so famous for doesn’t help things I’m sure.

My sister had to clear out due to the smoke. Hard to believe, to judge by your pictures. It still looks incredible out there.

The mosaic skywatch form is excellent! And sorry for the destruction the fire brought to the area concerned as we do have that here from year to year. Hope you keep well and safe!

The skies do tell a story – sometimes of beauty and other times of devastation. Glad your fires are contained.

Your collages are amazing and always make my jaw drop! Beautifully organized.. I’m sorry to hear about the fires… truly sad indeed.
Here in BC Canada, we are experiencing such madness as well… we are now just mopping up but still experiencing flareups. It has been a bad year. Prayers going out to all.
Hugs♥

Beautiful shots (as always!) — nifty use of haiku as a way to report news. Hope the fires die down soon! And thanks for the late-starting Haiku Friday supportive ‘ku comment!

The sky is certainly blue and I like those wispy clouds. It’s just too bad that they are created by that terrible fire.

Those are some amazing blue skies considering the fires going on down south. What a variety of cloud patterns too!
