Ewwwww! Those termites are disgusting! But where are they? I hope that’s not on your property? And what are all those tiny brown things, eggs? The sky pics are really foreboding, dark and ominous! And I love the birds in the sky pictures, with the little bit of blue coming out of the hole in the clouds, and the two different takes on the photo.

The black-and-white photos make the sky look very menacing, but I hope all you got out of those clouds is rain. We had rain yesterday, but it was just plain drab — no dramatic clouds. You got good macros of the termites, but you can keep them out there with you as far as I’m concerned!

Oh NO! Someone needs to call the exterminator!
Wow – those clouds are so dynamic – they look mad!

I never would have thought of photographing the work of termites but they make a good subject for your shots. The monochrome skies are fantastic.

My garage has a run in with termites last year. At the time I wasn’t in the mood to take a photo though LOL

Termites are not nice neighbors. Your B&W rendition of the California skies is excellent.

Nice close ups. The old, eaten wood has a cool look up close.

I have never seen termites – happily for me! The photos were wonderful and as close to them as I would like to be I think. lol I loved the quote at the end.

Termites really can do some damage, can’t they? Luckily we don’t have them here!

I hate termites but those made for great macro shots! Neat skies love the shadowing in the first. I guess we’re having rain for days and days Oh well shooting inside is the answer then!

Termites are scary! Would the rain even wash them away. Maybe you need some Pileated woodpeckers there to eat them.

My parents used to joke that the only thing holding up our old house was the termites holing hands.
It’s good to see the rain, even if it keeps us from our photography.

It really is raining there — looks like Oregon! Where are those termites? Hope not at your house.

I like seeing bugs at work (as long as they are no where near my house! lol!), and these closeups are fabulous! It must be a nice change, cloudy skies–it’ll make you appreciate the blue and sun all the more when they return! Enjoy the rain!!

Termites even manage to thrive in the desert where I live. I love your birds in the sky shots. Have a great week!
