Today’s Flowers and Macro Monday
More ‘Critters’ are with my Wednesday images
in the next post
Shades of Hitchcock …
has asked bloggers to share Yard Art on Thursdays …
Lots of people who live near the beach
in Southern California ‘decorate’ their yards
(often in unique ways) so I’ll have a steady supply!
Here’s MY second contribution …
Neither is from my yard!
and for others participating in Yard Art
In last week’s Pink Saturday/Today’s Flowers post, I shared bushes with pink blossoms that surround a palm tree in my front yard and asked for help identifying them. Several visitors suggested I needed ‘macro shots’ … so this week I experimented with my Tamron lens and am sharing some close ups in hopes someone will recognize and name this plant for me, thus I offer a ‘review of last weekend’ …
these pink blossoms, please tell me
what you think they are

I love that dog plant holder! Caught a shot of a piece in Old Saybrook that may have one time had a planter but not was just the dog. Those flowers are so pretty and delicate. I think our days for such are getting closer.

The flowers look like lilacs. I will have to go hunt down the other pics you speak of.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting on Petunia with her pink panties. I have been a bit afraid of Pink Saturdays as it is for mature bloggers. I havent quite grown up as of yet. I may just give it a swing this next time around due to your prompting. Thank you for that.
Off to find those other pics.
Blessings,
Cherie

Summer Lilac or Butterfly bush? These would be my suggestions. The blooms looks young which may be throwing your search off a bit.
