Camera Critters, Midweek Blues, Window Views

has asked bloggers to share Yard Art on Thursdays …
Lots of people who live near the beach
in Southern California ‘decorate’ their yards
(often in unique ways) so I’ll have a steady supply!
and for others participating in Yard Art
of a sparrow hanging out
in local palm trees
others participating in Thursday Thirteen,
Haiku Friday, Sky Watch,
and Camera Critters
near Long Beach Marina with
beautiful blue skies
others participating in Window Views, Weekend Reflections,
and Midweek Blues

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at, but I finally studied enough.

I love the reflection picture, and can read many of the letters on the building across the street. So clear! I love the mama and baby turtle, it is an excellent picture for the post today! And the sparrow in the tree, you’ve caught him flying, but his wings aren’t open!! How strange is that?

Love that friendly turtle. I embiggened him, and it looks like someone added stones for decoration on his shell.
Cool sparrow shots.

we have two house sparrows “nesting” on our patio again. I’d moved the bird house after a wind blew it off the corner. Hung it on the patio until I could get a ladder. Too late. Soon we’ll have babies chirping there I’m sure.
Meanwhile, we have a froggy courtin’ in our pond. Every night he/she? calls and calls. Another one answered – and yet they still sing the chorus tonight.
I love it.

Our sparrow population is declining so I’m delighted to see your sparrows. Enjoy! The pests of today become the mourned of the morrow . . . 😉
