This week’s theme is bridge(s) …
This ‘apparent stairway’ leads to a 2nd bridge across the same stream on the grounds of the Mabel Dodge House in Taos, New Mexico seen spanned by a flatter wooden structure (in similarly various forms) at Sacred Ruminations in another Photo Hunt this weekend. The ‘original photo’ at the top was snapped with my Casio Exlim ‘point & shoot’ while attending the 2007 Writers Retreat during the summer. Below are 9 variations using filters in Photoshop Elements …

This week’s theme is … Aftermath
Last week I shared 7 photos of a lovely red rose
in a collage at Sacred Ruminations Haiku Friday#102,
Today’s collage below illustrates it’s gradual demise.
AFTERMATH …
Currently Santa Ana winds are blowing outside and are predicted to gust for the next few days. I’m hoping they won’t wreak havoc on the Apricot Rose still in full bloom in my front yard, here in Southern California.

Haiku Sky Watch Friday is in the next post and at Sacred Ruminations too.

This week’s theme is … HOPE
After blue skies on New Year’s Day & fog yesterday …
shared yesterday in Haiku Sky Watch Friday,
I’m HOPING that today’s rain showers
won’t wreak havoc on the Apricot Rose currently blooming
in my front yard, here in Southern California
